Can water damage my analyser? Print E-mail
Yes, if water is sucked into the analyser the inlet to the oxygen sensor can become blocked and it stops working. It will then display "-----"O2. Water can also damage the CO sensor.
Where this happens, there will be a charge if the sensors need to be replaced.
If you experience this condition, it may be possible to rectify the problem yourself. Leave the instrument in a warm place for a few hours with the pump running. This may dry out the oxygen sensor enough to get a reading.
If you still have problems, please ring the Service Department.
