This month we have caught up with Mark Sergeant of NRG Scotland Plumbing & Heating. They have been established for over five years and specialise in boiler installations, servicing and breakdown repairs.
How long have you been in the industry?
I have been in the plumbing industry for almost five years now. I ran my own plumbing business for a few years before getting the chance to join together with NRG.
Why did you become a plumber/engineer?
It took me a while to finally find a career that I wanted to do. I eventually found a passion for plumbing and am going through my gas training.
What do you love about your job?
I am currently really enjoying working on the gas side of things. I like problem solving – making sure things are done right and looking great.
What annoys you about the industry?
DIY plumbing installers and corner cutters that leave a disaster for customers.
Why do you use KANE?
