At KANE, we are continuously looking at ways to improve our impact on the environment. That’s why we have recently invested in new energy efficient LED lighting at our Atherton site.
We have completely revamped the whole lighting infrastructure, replacing every single light with modern LED energy efficient lighting installed by PLS Lighting.
PLS have a proven track record of reducing carbon footprints for businesses all over the UK, having helped over 200 business in the UK!
The new lighting will save 23,376 kWh a year – that’s enough energy to power 6 houses for a whole year!
The lighting will also offset over 8 tonnes of CO2 per year, we believe that this, along with our recent investment in solar panels at our Welwyn Garden City site, will make giant strides towards our goal of reducing KANE’s carbon footprint.
