KANE Customer Highlight
Every month we will be showcasing you, KANE’s valued customers.
This month’s quality KANE engineer is Ryan Smith, of RS Heating and Plumbing Installations, Blackpool. He is 32-years-old and works mainly on domestic and commercial applications.
How long have you been in the industry?
I have been a plumber and gas engineer for around 13 years now. I started right after leaving school. I did take a break from domestic gas though as I got a job on the oil rigs as a pipefitter for a while but found myself back on the tools.
Why did you become a plumber/engineer?
I became a plumber because of my dad. He has his own heating firm and it was an obvious progression for me. I always looked up to him.
What do you love about your job?
I get real satisfaction in pleasing the customer. I also love solving problems and being my own boss.
What annoys you about the industry?
There are a lot of people out there who don’t take pride in their work. It give us all a bad name sometimes.
Why do you use KANE?
Because of their quality analysers. I have tried others in the past but nothing really compares when you think about it. They are easy to use, solid and the service is second to none.
