We are very sorry to announce that Jan Haider, our wonderful sales colleague, died after a brave illness with cancer.
Jan started his career as a British Gas service engineer, one of their first Asian employees. He showed exceptional grit to rise through the ranks before moving to become a training manager for Vaillant & Glow-Worm.
Jan joined KANE in 2008 as a Regional Sales Manager, later becoming our UK Sales & Training Manager.
His experience and natural character made him an outstanding ambassador and successful sales colleague for KANE.
Always smiling, always selling & always helping, Jan personified KANE’s values of outstanding service with lifetime warranty - no one was more obsessed about winning and taking care of our customers.
An outstanding opening batsman for multiple teams in Yorkshire, Jan’s mental toughness made him treat his battle with cancer just as he would an opening bowler, fighting with positive spirit & energy few could muster.
A man of faith, Jan ensured those close to him were loved and looked after.
