KANE in Safe Hands

Congratulations to Joe Hague our recently appointed Safety, Health, Environmental & Quality Manager (SHEQ) who has taken and passed with distinction the National Examination Board in Occupational Safety & Health (NEBOSH) National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety.

Harry Kane isn’t the only Kane to have graced the new Tottenham Hotspur stadium – we brought along a team to PHEX that would give the current Spurs 11 a game. What a fantastic location for an exhibition!

A great venue at Alexandra Palace and a great show ensured the KANE stand was busy for the 2 days of the show with the first 10 visitors to the stand on both days being able to claim their free KANE backpack.

Going Underground

Following a request from Compass Minerals in Cheshire to demonstrate a KANE AUTO600 Smokemeter on one of their “Machines”, KANE Automotive Sales Manager, Martin O’Dea & Operations Director, Jonathan Hoole went on a journey over 500ft under the Cheshire countryside to one of the worlds largest rock salt mines.

Kane visits Jaguar

Kane’s Operations team visited Jaguar to gain insight into a world-class lean manufacturing facility. Jaguar began their lean journey over 20 years ago building a culture of continuous improvement, which is called Kaizen. Kaizen originated in Japan and is the practice of continuous improvement, which is recognised worldwide as an important pillar of an organisation’s long-term competitive strategy.
